Less than 2 weeks to go now until we leave and things have slowed a little after a very busy few weeks getting the house sorted.  All our furniture is packed away in storage and we are currently living with Russell's parents.  Was nice to get the house all finalized and will hopefully be a blessing for our new tenants to enjoy.

Plan is to fly up to PNG on the 1st of March, but still waiting on visa's so we may end up having to delay a bit if they don't come through this week.Work finishes for Russell this Friday (22nd).

Also had the pleasure of celebrating Heather's Baptism last weekend (in the Brisbane River of all places). Beautiful morning and also a good opportunity to say some farewells as a lot of family and friends came along.

Here's Where it Starts

And so begins another chapter in the Conwell family. We are heading off to PNG in early 2013 and thought this blog may be a good way to keep in touch and give the occasional update of what's happening in our lives. Hopefully it's also a means for the more tech savy younger members of the family to practice some of their skills. It's also a place where you can drop us a line and keep in touch. Looking forward to what lies ahead!

But for now it's back to the sorting, packing, cleaning, chucking, gardening, fixing, phoning, shopping and all else required to get to the final destination. Finally got the house renovations and landscaping pretty much completed (now that it's time to go).
